About Peyton
In May of 2025, Peyton was selected as one of ten Texas FFA members to serve as a Ford Leadership Scholar. This prestigious program, made possible through a partnership between the Texas FFA Association, the Texas FFA Foundation, and Ford Motor Company, prepares students to return to their communities and create meaningful, sustainable service projects.

Aside from her service as a Scholar, Peyton is heavily involved in FFA, where she shows livestock, competes in events, and serves as both the Summer Creek FFA Chapter President and as an Area III FFA Association Vice President. Beyond FFA, Peyton is a member of both the National & Science National Honor Societies at Summer Creek High School and is a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Junior Rodeo Committee.
Plans After high school
After graduating from high school, Peyton plans to attend Texas A&M University, where she will pursue a double major in Agribusiness and Agricultural Leadership and Development. Following her undergraduate studies, she hopes to continue her education by earning a Master of Agribusiness through Texas A&M’s program. Her experiences in FFA have played a significant role in shaping this passion, inspiring her to build a future rooted in agriculture, leadership, and service.

Ford Leadership Scholar Program

3) Recognize the Scholars to build a remarkable legacy for the future of our state and nation.
